Career Receptionist - Professional Richmond Firm

Our professional service client in Richmond, BC is looking for a career receptionist to join their firm.  The receptionist is a key person within the firm as the first contact for their clients.   The right candidate for the role is helpful, patient, cheerful and confident.

The candidate will have a "can do" attitude and possess an understanding that the service of both external and internal clients is the central focus of this position.

Main duties include:

  • Answering the phone, assisting those that can be easily helped, passing on calls, taking messages or directing calls to voice-mail;
  • Greeting clients and others in reception area and making sure that the appropriate person within the office is contacted. 
  • Offering refreshments to clients; 
  • Coordinating lunch for client meetings;
  • Coordinating all incoming and outgoing courier packages.
  • Keeping track of the booking of meeting rooms and all client meetings. 
  • Arranging for coffee, snacks and lunches for client meetings.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Six months to one year of related experiencel;
  • Proficient keyboarding skills and knowledge of MS office programs
  • Fluent in English
