Junior Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant

Our client is a small downtown law firm that specializes in litigation strategy, mediation and arbitration.  We are assisting them recruit a junior Legal Administrative Assistant .

The successful candidate will be able to perform the duties and responsibilities outlined below:

  • Draft daily correspondence, document preparation, precedents, etc.
  • File management including organizing documents
  • Maintain BF system
  • Daily time entry
  • Perform BC Online searches and e-filing documents
  • Other general administrative and secretarial support services as required


  • Strong organizational and word processing skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a high volume of work and multi-task
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive and willing attitude
  • Ability to function well under pressure and handle multiple assignments
  • Excellent spelling and grammar – attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to take initiative and think ahead
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook- Keyboarding of at least 60 wpm
